going back to cali...oops! i mean mayberry

BIG NEWS MY FREINDS, even though I am pretty sure no one really reads this any more, and how can I blame you, I am averaging about one blog a month. BUT back to the new.

NATALIE AND I ARE MOVING.
Thats right, I have taken a new job and we will be moving at the end of September to Mt.Airy North Carolina. This is an exciting time for us even though we will greatly miss the church we are leaving. We love Zebulon baptist but it is time for us to answer the call so I will become the Associate minister at the first baptist church of Mt.Airy.

That we are actually moving to Mt.Airy is a big suprise to us. We knew that there would be a time that we would leve ZBC but we never thought it would be to a small town. We wanted to try DC or Boston or something big or less southern. What we ended up with is that town that ANDY built.

When I say ANDY I am referring to Andy Griffith. Mt.Airy is his hometown and the town that Mayberry is patterned after. For you connisours, there actually is a Floyds barber shop and you can still get a Snappy lunch.

We will be moving the end of September and I will be trying to keep the blog updated with all that is happeing. I also hope I will be able to do more with the blog. I got alot in my head I want to get out. But for now, the news is that we are going to Mayberry to be ministers. We are excited about it and looking forward to making new friends in a new place.
