blog 4- followup and todays struggle

KELLY CLARKSON UPDATE.

(Please read blog 3 before reading this blog, it will make mores sense)
Yesterday I posted that a guilty pleasure of mine is Kelly Clarkson. Some songs I can change the station on, but her, i just cant do it. I dont know why.

BUT...It must be Kelly Clarkson, and not just K.C. songs.



Last night, Natalie and I got sucked into the new NBC show, HIT ME 1 More Time. If i ever watch this again, all of you have permission to hit me because it pretty much sucked. I say pretty much becuase Arrested Development was pretty good. But Tiffany sang a Kelly Clarkson song, and it Pretty much, totally sucked. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that I am a fan of the singer from Burleson, TX and not just of the music. I used to be a fan of tiffany, but any washed up teen star that is trying to get re-famous though another teen star's songs is just trying too hard. Please, tiffany, leave us alone now.


Today's Sturggle-

Maybe it is the frustration I am harbouring in my heart over tiffany last night, but I just cant get into writing my sermon today. The weather is perfect for it, cloudy, threatening rain and cool. I am at my favorite coffee shop and I have a great idea. I got good texts, genesis 12 and matthew 9. I like my illustrations, but i just dont want to put it down in black and white.

I know I need to do it, so, I have put on some OASIS and I am going at it. I going to write a kick-ass sermon and i am going to lay it on 'em at 10 on sunday.

oh, yeah, i am good enough, i am smart enough, and people (at least pretend to) like me.

blog 3- latest interests

I thought I would give a little insight into what has been floating around lately. I have gotten into the new Saab 9.2x. It is a car. Most of the time I have one car or another on my mind. Some people long for the beach this time or year. Others pine after a vacation. Me, I just like cars. I dont know what it is, probably just a sin, but I am always into one car or another.

For the past few months I had settled on the Element. I am still a fan, but think I should lust after something that is other than a soccer mom vehicle. I see too many middle aged women driving them right now and not enough 20somethings.

The way my passion is living itself out is on these forums. I read posts of other owners and drivers about what they love about their cars and their stories. It is pretty fun, but a bit time comsuming at times. I dont let it take up too much time, but use it as a break from work.

Guilty Pleasures...
Since I am in the midst of confession, I must confess my guilty pleasure for Kelly Clarkson songs. I am not really a pop music guy. Most of the time I listen to NPR, sports radio, and lately the new BECK cd. But today, I wasnt into the sports or NPR topics so I scanned my FM presets. When I hit the top 40 station and K.C. was on, I just stopped. It was afun song. I kinda feel bad for liking her, but I kinda dont either. She is pretty good and hasnt been caught lipsyncing, yet. She actually sings and has a good voice and someone writing catchy tunes for her.

So, thoses are my confessions today, please dont beat me up for it. peace
