never 'hot' + 1st from off main
I was watching a video on youtube tonight and I heard someone say "that's hot." Though I have no idea what she was actually calling 'hot,' I dont think it had anything to do with the actual temperature of the so, so she was using it in the way Paris Hilton does. I promise you that I will never use 'that's hot.' Not that there is anything wrong with it (besides when I hear it I think, that sounds dumb) but it's not me. I may head off into the 21st century with the use of outdated words like 'cool' and 'awesome, ' but I am not going to let the heiress positively shape my use of the English language.

This is actually my first post from my new address, just off of main st here in the M-T-A (I will let Outkast influence my lingo a bit though). My connection feels really fast. At work we have the same speed, but it is shared across 5 people. At the old house we had 512 (whatever that means). But now we have 1.5 and it is not shared. So, whoo hoo for fast internet.
We still are working on this place and it is getting to feel a little like home. This weekend we are going to actually move into the living room with our living room furniture because the hardwood floors are finally about ready. We are also going to continue work in the kitchen, and someday, we may actually decide to move our stuff into there. Right now, we just buy stuff to cook that can be handled with paper plates, plastic utensils, and no pots. We do have one pan out so we warm lots in our ovens.
It is fun living in a house you own and it is fun knowing you don't ever have to unpack anything if you don't want to. I pay my mortgage and I can do what I want with it. We are not going to get too loaded down with finishing projects immediately, just in time as we have time.
Finally, we went to FLA this weekend and it was a good trip. More on that after I upload some pics. But for now, may the peace of Christ be with you, and keep your thoughts and prayers with those in the difficult places in the world like Iraq, Afghanistan and Blacksburg VA.
